Joanna Toch was called to the Bar in 1988 and has specialised in family law since 1992. She was a lecturer on the Bar Vocational Course. She has worked as a family law barrister both in independent practice and in solicitors’ offices. She gave advice at the Croydon One Stop Shop for Domestic Violence, the first in the country. Joanna acted for the mother in the reported case of Re S (A Child) [2012] EWCA Civ 1031 in which the mother was awarded a sole residence order due to the father’s psychological and emotional warfare on the mother impacting on the child. Joanna recently set up the Family Law Café, a website offering a holistic approach to family law. Joanna is a member of the family team at Lamb Building Chambers.
